Threshold Ceremonies

We honor life as a ceremony, with so many of our internal changes quietly shaping and molding us into our own becoming. These moments of shedding and rebirth are silent and sacred. And what if we equally honor the cycles and changes that want to be witnessed and celebrated by a loving, supportive community? These are the times when a person’s heart and body are undergoing such profound change; these passages deserve to be witnessed, honored, and held with deep intention and beauty.

To gather and behold is a sacred act, an act of witnessing and saying:
“You are seen and held in your passage of courage, as you hold the hand of your former self, and walk into what is not yet known. This journey is beautiful.”

It is in the quiet alchemy of shared ritual, we mark these passages as both endings and beginnings.

A threshold is not just a moment — it is a doorway, a hand reaching into the stars, a tunnel downward,  a ride on the river.

These thresholds are times when soul spirals inward, to praise what’s true, even when the way is not fully known. It is in this place where the buds of a deeper inner knowing begin to find their opening. The place where the human soul stands between who they have been and who they are becoming.

We co-create ritual containers that confluence the wild places of heart and soul — intentional gatherings that honor the beauty of transformation. We anchor each threshold in ceremony, community, craft and earth-based celebration.

These ceremonies hold space for transitions such as:

  • First moon/bleed & coming of body wisdom

  •  Leaving home or entering a new life chapter

  • Navigating grief, loss, or separation

  • First love, heartbreak, identity shifts

  • Graduations, farewells, and re-emergence

Each offering is woven with intention, rooted in nature, and shaped by the stories and needs of the one who is becoming.

What is included in the ceremony

  • A co-creative design session (1-hour Zoom optional) to shape the heart of your ritual — what story it tells and what elements it gathers.

  •  A 2-hour or 3-hour ceremonial gathering- co-woven by facilitators and family to honor the precipice and the crossing over.

  •  A prepared co-created altar — based on the preferences and weavings of the celebrated person, nature elements and supportive beings (beloved ancestors, plants & animals)

  • An optional hands-on craft or offering for the participants to imbue their intentions into sacred objects (things like weavings, candles, totems, jewelry etc.)

We humbly acknowledge we occupy the ancestral and treaty lands of the Wasco People in the Columbia River Gorge of Corbett, Oregon.
This land has shown us the gift of community, connection, and reverence. With every breath and seed we sow, may we continue to seek guidance from the elders and land-keepers, humxn and beyond, who have nurtured the resilience of this region for countless generations.
