Girls Group 12-14 Portland: Wheel of the Wild, a Journey of Inner Seasons

This group runs 3 sessions Fall, Winter and Spring, meeting monthly on Sundays from 1:00p-5:00p.

This is not an ordinary extra-curricular! This is an integrated & transformative experience <3

Your daughter will be led by licensed trauma-informed professionals. Our modalities are inspired by Waldorf education, Somatic Awareness, and Voice Dialogue parts work. Together we will be:

• Honing social/emotional processing skills,

• Recognizing our inner parts and deeper needs, (Voice Dialogue, Nonviolent Communication, Somatic tracking)

• Honoring creative expression,

• Learning discernment through body intelligence

• Learning body wisdom and herbal supports

• Weaving community

• Connecting to nature

In this girls' group we move through four directions, following the arc of the medicine wheel, honoring how this mirrors the rhythms of the feminine.

We all know how challenging this time of development is known to be, but we think it doesn't have to be so hard...we think girls can be held and learn skills as they navigate the real challenges of this time of life.During our time together the participants will create expressions of beauty from their inner landscapes, and engage with with creative flow as a resource. Together we will practice playful curiosity towards all of our emotional states, and learn deeper herbal/body wisdom to support the feminine bio-rhythms. There will also be land challenges, connection games and plenty of fun.

Families are woven into this offering as well, with seasonal parent integration groups, included in the pricing. We know that parent support is an integral part of supporting our young ones.

We culminate in June 2026 with a 4-day backpacking trip, filled with ceremony, rites of passage challenge, nature integration and play!
